Fan Works - Triforce Trilogy Part 1 ~ Wisdom
Many years ago, in the world of Hyrule, once lived a race of people known as the Hylians. They were ruled by a woman who had great spiritual powers, these powers that she held were beyond the understanding of any man. This Woman was the Princess of Destiny, the holder of light, and the seventh one. She over came many disasters throughout her life all for the sole reason of protecting the lands.
Hyrule was a land where evil tried many times to reign, each time they were stopped and defeated. The legends tell of a man who aided the ruler of Hyrule in the quest to stop evil many times, he was known as the Hero of Time. He was the hero who liberated Hyrule from evil's wrath on many occasions.
The sources of their powers were drawn through the goddesses known as Din, Nayru and Farore. The powers were contained within three triangles and in each triangle the separate powers known in legends as wisdom, courage and power, put together the triangles formed a powerful weapon known as the Triforce. The three triangles were locked up, but their powers were separated into three people, the power of courage was given to the hero, the power of wisdom to the Princess, the power of power was given to someone else. This someone else was the dark lord known as Ganon. Ganon has tried many times to take over Hyrule, but has not succeeded. The first time he tried to crush the lands, the Princess of Destiny and The Hero of Time defeated him and sent him into another dimension. The names of the hero's were believed to be Princess Zelda and the hero was called, Link. After much hardship in protecting Hyrule they settled down and eventually passed away.
A statue of the hero was made and displayed in a temple, which does not stand anymore, this temple was believed to be the Temple of Time. When they passed away they transcended to the sacred realm to over look Hyrule.
Years passed, then evil emerged once again and terrible floods engulfed Hyrule to stop them in their tracks, the people thought the Hero of Time would come to save them, but he did not appear. He was held within the Sacred Realm where he was sealed in and unable to get out to help the lands. It is believed that he was not allowed to help this time, as it was fate that Hyrule was to be destroyed by the floods. A couple hundred years later, the Hylians were forgotten and a few descendants of the Hylians lived above water. Things were okay until evil turned up again.
Legends say that each time evil appeared a new Hero would have already have been born and raised, destined to fight evil with the power of courage within him. The Hero of Winds saved the baron waterlogged Hyrule.
Eventually the water washed away and a new society was built, where Hyrule faced many more challenges over the hundreds of years and each time there was a hero to combat evil.
Peace came to the land for many years and evil had not come in a long time. This time there is no hero, the eventual death of the evil Ganon meant that the God's saw no need to appoint a hero, they were terribly wrong.

In the depths of another dimension there was an evil that was desperate to gain power, he wants to lay his hands on the Triforce…

Deep in the Sacred Realm the Princess of Destiny and Hero of Time kept watch over the Hyrulian civilization that now thrived. They were just waking up to another day in Hyrule,
“Ah morning Zelda,” Link said gently to Zelda,
“That time already?” Zelda groaned with a slight sigh, “Another day watching over Hyrule.”
“Come on Zelda, it's not that bad,” Link replied, “It's our duty to protect Hyrule.”
“We've been here for thousands of years, each day and night we keep an eye on Hyrule,” Zelda groaned as if she needed to be heard by everyone, “It's just that we've aided Hyrule many times within the depths of this Realm. Now that Ganon is finally dead maybe we can actually leave the Realm to another dimension and settle and stay there.”
“It would be a good idea, but fate has not given out the powers of the triforce to any one,” Link sighed, “The powers have returned to us, but I just don't feel at ease that no one in Hyrule has the power.”

However somewhere in another dimensional portal the evil, was making his way to Hyrule, gaining his strength,
“I'm ready to get a hold of you, golden triangles soon you shall be mine!” the evil smirked.

Elsewhere on Hyrule, people were busy with their daily routines, people were working, farmers were farming and everyone was happy. The day was calm and the sun was out, shining onto the precious land like a golden aura that was giving life. Hyrule field was silent, the only noises you could here were the birds singing and the faint sound of the farming equipment from afar. This peace was quickly interrupted. There was a sudden explosion and a flash of light engulfed the whole of Hyrule, the Hyrulians were dazzled and dismayed. The evil was out and ready to begin his mission,
“Now to find the one known as the Evil King, Ganondorf!” He chuckled to himself.

The Hyrulians were shocked and scared, some were running around mad unable to control themselves and others just didn't know what to do. The evil had already started burning down some of the villages. Hyrule was in trouble, and a mass of people packed themselves into the Sacred Temple of Light, a man was standing at the front of the Temple preaching. He was a rather tall man, his beard was long and winding down onto the floor, he was not old however neither was he young, but everyone seemed to be listening to him,
“This thing must be stopped!” He shouted with emphasis, “Legend says that every time Hyrule is in trouble a Hero will descend upon us and cleanse the land of this evil!”
“But no one seems to have turned up or even been given the powers of being a Hero!” Someone in the crowd shouted back.
“Indeed I know! This either means that our God's have failed us, or this is just simple fate and that our end is near!” A blind panic commenced within the great hall of the temple, the Hyrulians were scared and were not sure what to do.

In the sacred realm, Zelda and Link were getting worried,
“Oh dear, I believe I spoke too soon,” Link said to himself, but was over heard by Zelda,
“Yes that's true,” Zelda replied, “But Link, what shall we do? We were not expecting this to happen, we thought Hyrule was safe after the death of Ganondorf!”
“I think we have no choice, we must return to Hyrule ourselves,” Link answered in a tone of voice he had not used in a long time,
“But we're supposed to be dead, they're going to have a shock,” Zelda replied.
“It's our duty to save Hyrule Zelda, we were placed in the Sacred Realm for a reason,” Link said determined,
“Fine, let's go,” Zelda looked wearily at a round ball with an image of Hyrule in, “I hope we can save the land.”

In the Temple of Light, the people were still panicking. The bearded man in front of the congregation of panic-stricken people tried desperately to calm them down. The King of Hyrule along with the rest of the royal family soon entered the temple,
“Everyone quiet!” The King shouted in a deep voice, the noise died down and everyone turned to face the red face of the King, “Listen everyone, we are trying our best to stop this thing in its path, but we have not yet been able to slow it down. All we can do at this time is not to panic! Things will be made worse if you don't calm down!”
“But we don't have anyone to protect us,” Came a voice in the crowd, “The royal guard cannot protect us, they are too weak!”
“Indeed it is true,” the King boomed, “Legends say that every time something bad happens to Hyrule someone will be sent down from the heavens to protect us. I assure you that this will happen!”
“Yeah right!” the bearded man said at the front, “Don't the legends also mention something about hundreds of years ago Hyrule was flooded, the people thought they would be saved by the God's but no one came!”
“Yes, but I know that someone will save us this time! I can feel it!” The King's tone of voice was a reassuring one but it had a certain sense of tension in it that even he knew that wasn't a good thing.
The room was soon ablaze with arguing, when suddenly the ground beneath them started to rumble, lights flashed across the great hall of the temple. A stone door behind the bearded man began to rise up and open, it creaked and crumbled as it lifted. The people stood there looking at the door in awe, the door continued to rise revealing to the people what looked like two figures and a sword in the middle of the room. The faces of the two figures were reveled,
“Could it be?” One of the men in the crowd shouted,
“No it can't be, could it?” A woman replied,
“My word!” The King shouted in disbelief, “It looks like the people written in the legends! Could it really be The Hero of Time and The Princess of Destiny?”
The figures stepped out into the light and stood tall in front of the congregation of people staring in total shock. Zelda raised a hand to get the people to focus,
“People of Hyrule, we have descended from the heavens of this land to come to your aid,” Zelda shouted, “We intend to do away with this evil and put Hyrule back to how it was!”
The King walked up to Zelda, “Is it really you? Are you the Princess of Destiny?” He asked.
“Yes that is correct,” she replied.
“Then your Majesty, I believe that the thrown is now all yours,” The King bowed.
“That is not necessary, please stand up, listen the thrown by all right is yours. And anyway, there won't be any thrown to save if this thing isn't stopped. So we shall discuss this once we've finished this evil off!” Zelda said determined.
Link gazed around the temple, his head was full memories of his previous adventures, he glanced at the people they all looked so innocent and unknowing. The faces were blank, scared and it sent a rush into Link which he hadn't felt for years, he knew that he was back and he would be trying to save the Hyrulians and slight smile creaked out of his serious expression.

Suddenly the Temple started to shake, pillars started to fall apart and the roof started collapse, a great mass of light shone through the floor of temple. The floor within the light started to give way and out burst two figures of sorts.
The Hyrulians were frightened the two figures in front of them were ghastly evil looking beings. Most of the people ran out of the temple in a blind panic, but there were the one's who were brave enough to watch. Link and Zelda looked in amazement, there in front of them was something they did not expect, and it was Ganondorf. Next to Ganondorf stood a tall man, his eyes glowed red and he seemed to have just changed forms from some monster to a human like figure. Magic seemed to be pumping from his hands, feet and mouth.
“Who are you?” Link shouted getting out his biggoron sword.
“Ha! Brave young man, that sword couldn't stop me just put it away and leave me be,” He laughed.
“I said, who are you?” Link screamed back.
“Why my name is Tyran,” he smirked.
Zelda stared at Ganondorf,
“I thought you were dead!” she screeched.
“Well yes I was, however Tyran has resurrected me,” He answered, “You see, we've teamed up, and you two won't be able to stop us.”
“That's where you are wrong,” Tyran turned to Ganondorf, Ganondorf looked up to Tyran in disbelieve,
“What? You bring me back and lie to me? What's going on?” Ganondorf shouted in anger.
“Hah! You fool, I'm here to get the Triforce off the three of you, that's why I brought you back to life.”
“That's where you're going to have a problem, you see, when Ganondorf died the power of the triforce he held returned to the actual triforce piece,” Zelda shouted.
“Well actually you're wrong, when I was resurrected the power of the triforce returned to me! I feel so…I don't know how I feel…” Ganondorf turned to Zelda, his eyes seemed to have changed, his figure was one of sadness, but he had anger within him, “I…”
Tyran's hand started to glow. A gust of energy went towards Ganondorf; the impact was so great that it sent Ganondorf flying across the room, landing on the wall with a crash of rubble.
“Now hand the three pieces over,” Tyran screeched,
“Never!” Link shouted back, shooting some light arrows, Tyran dodged all of them.
Tyran became angry. He released three balls of energy hitting all three of them, severely weakening them. Tyran sent three small strands of magic towards the hands of the three, the magic engulfed Link's body first and then Zelda's followed by Ganondorf. They glowed a while, Tyran tugged on the magic strands and managed to rip out the three triforce pieces,
“All that energy” Tyran said to himself, “Now to send you three some place where you will never bother me again!”
A huge flash of light consumed the room; Ganondorf, Zelda and Link started to fade away. They looked at themselves slowly disappearing. Zelda glanced at Ganondorf he suddenly vanished.
“Link get the Master Sword!” Zelda shouted with a sense of urgency.
Link ran to the master Sword still fading away, he jumped up grabbed the sword out of the Pedestal, shouting,
“Powers of the Gods help our cause!” by then Zelda had gone, Link looked at Tyran for one last time and grinned, then he disappeared…

The Sages began to appear one by one; Saria was the first of the sages to appear followed by the some sages of past and present. Tyran was glowing a bright green colour, the sages glanced at him. They quickly engulfed a shield around the room of the pedestal,
“You shall never pass into the sacred realm!” shouted Rauru.
Tyran looked at Rauru in amazement; he had amassed enough power and let off a sudden gust of power. The magic wave spread across the whole land destroying everything in Hyrule except the Temple of Light and the people of Hyrule. Zora's domain caved in, Kuroko Forest was a mess, Deserted Valley was totally destroyed, Hyrule was a wreck…And there was no one to save them.
“I like this place, now to take it over,” Tyran laughed.

A Mystical blue glow surrounded Zelda as she touched the ground. She regained her senses and had a good look at where she was,
“Where am I?” Zelda asked herself realizing that she wasn't in Hyrule anymore. She was in some sort of market place. There were dozens of people they were all standing stiff staring at Zelda. Soon some of them snapped out of their daze and slowly surrounded her.
“Who is she?” someone asked.
“Did you see the blue field of light surrounding here? She must be a witch,” another replied.
“A what?” Zelda shouted,
“Let's burn her on a stake!” someone cackled in the background.
“You can't do that!” Zelda tried to back away from the crowd of people.
“WAIT!” a voice was heard from behind the crowd. The crowd suddenly partitioned to form a tunnel, standing at the end was an old frail man. He walked up to Zelda,
“For years this land has been cursed by evil, creatures attack people at night, we can't get any sleep. Up in the castle lives a very old man, he is the one to blame, no-one has seen him but we all know that he is the one who put this curse upon us.”
“Why are you telling me this?” Zelda asked out of sheer confusion.
“Many years ago the sacred people of this land wrote in their prophets that someone with mystical powers and a heart of gold will come to save our land, and somehow I sense that this person is you.”
“Me?” Zelda asked still in a matter of confusion, “I've just arrived here…Why me?”
“I sense many things young lady and your heart is one of them.” the old man smiled, “The only way for you to get into the castle is break the two powerful curses.”
“I haven't accepted any kind of challenge or quest from you, I just want to find a way home.”
“Ah, that's why you are going to accept.”
“Oh will I now?” Just as Zelda finished that sentence, an overwhelming sense of embarrassment flowed through her, she knew that sarcasm was just not her strong point.
“Just listen, you'll accept this quest because I believe you may be able to get home from within that castle,” the old man grinned.
“Oh…fine…where are these two curses?” Zelda said reluctantly.
“They are in the two life temples at the edge of this world, once defeated you should be able to gain access to the castle and if you destroy the evil, I'm sure you will be able to return home.”
“How come no one has ever tried to break the curse?” Zelda enquired.
“People have, but none have succeeded, so we have been waiting for the prophets to come true.
Zelda gave out a large sigh, “I will do my best.”
“Good, now I welcome you to the land of Ulria”

Zelda walked out of the Town and into a vast field of grass and flowers, she looked around and listened, nothing was to be heard. In the distance in front of her stood two large towers, they were upright like two soldiers standing as still as they could be.
Zelda set off to the temple to her left, she walked for a few hundred metres. She stopped as she heard the noise of some feet approach. Zelda looked around, but nothing was to be seen, the noise was getting louder. A mist surrounded her and a strange warrior on a horse appeared as if from no-where, Zelda stared up. He raised his fist and took a swipe. Zelda was knocked to the ground with a loud scream.
In a daze she raised back up and focused on the warrior,
“What did you do that for?” she asked.
“No questions, you must be destroyed,” the warrior answered. In a mad dash, Zelda tried casting some of her magic but it failed miserably. The warrior advanced and grabbed her; Zelda struggled to get loose.
“Hey leave her alone!” a voice shouted. The warrior let Zelda go in confusion.
“Go for the legs!” The voice came again. Zelda got her daggers out and slashed the warrior by the legs. He gave out loud cry and fell to the ground and then vanished.
“Phew, thank goodness that's over,” the voice appeared and there on front of Zelda was a little glowing ball of energy, it was a Fairy.
“Navi?” Zelda asked.
“Yep that's me!” Navi replied.
“But how did you get here?” Zelda looked puzzled.
“Since the battle with Ganondorf many thousands of years ago, I've been living with the Great Deku Tree. I was in a kind of stasis, in an eternal sleep as it were. However a few days ago I was awakened by the Deku Tree, he felt that something terrible was going to happen and told me that I was needed here. So I travelled here.”
“Then I shall be pleased and glad if you would aid me in ridding this place of its curse.”
“Good, then let's get started. I've collected some knowledge these past few days, if you defeat the Evil that resides in the temple on the left you will travel straight to the Evil in the other Temple.”
“Well then, that's good. I now don't have to climb as many stairs as I thought I was going to have to.”

Zelda and Navi reached the temple and looked around it,
“Navi, where's the door?” Zelda said in frantic confusion.
“I don't know,” Navi answered.
“Well there must be one,” Zelda smirked, “there will be one.”
Zelda started running glowing with magic towards the wall, she gradually got faster. She got closer to the wall prepared for the grand hit into it. Her preparation was a waste of time, as she reached the wall she tripped and fell straight into the hall of the temple.
“What the? When did that door appear there?” Zelda looked up dazed. She got up and looked at the corridor. It was dark, the only light shining in was from the door, at the end of the long corridor was a door. She walked up to the door and put her hand on the cold metal plating that surrounded the door, she turned the handle and walked through the door.
The room she entered was dark and cold. Beams of light were emanating from the walls. Navi looked around the room; a translucent glow trailed off from her with every movement. In the far corners were two stalfos, they were lying down dormant.
“They look to be asleep Zelda,” Navi said, she got in closer to one of them. She hovered over it and looked into its face. The Stalfo's eyes suddenly lit up.
“Watch out!” Navi screeched.
The Stalfos jumped to life, both clutching their swords in a firm grip and headed towards Zelda. Zelda looked at the two of them and got out her daggers from their pouches.
The Stalfo's went to attack her but she dodged out of the way, she turned on one of them.
“Take that!” Zelda screamed. With one slash of her dagger she had defeated one of them.
“Now for you,” the daggers powered up, with one great swipe of the blade the stafo fell to the floor ablaze with blue flames.
“I like this place already!” Zelda joked while wiping the sweat off her face.
Two chests appeared in the center of the room engulfed in a bright blue light. Zelda walked up to both of the chests and opened them. The chests contained the map and compass for the dungeon. Zelda had a good look at them.
“It seems that this place does no have many rooms, just two more to go,” Zelda was surprised, “How boring.”
There was a door in opposite to them, Zelda looked forward and gave a sigh. They walked up to the door in a cautious stroll and opened it. They walked into the room, it was empty, and Zelda could hear her footsteps echoing off the walls.
“You know I don't see why the villagers couldn't have attempted to break the curse, this place is just so…um…dull and seems to be easy to walk through,” Navi tried to joke, whilst stumbling for the right words to use.
They reached the other door,
“I think you're right Navi!” Zelda smiled in return. Zelda reached her hand out to the leaver to the door when three bars slipped down in front of the door. Zelda jumped back in shock. Her eyes stared at the bars for a few seconds with a wide fearful look in them. She turned around quickly, her eyes fixed onto a figure. The figure walked closer and to Zelda's horror standing in front of her was Impa.
“Hello traveller, this temple is easy is it not?” The figure of Impa enquired.
“Impa?” Zelda asked with much passion, “It can't be you, you're in the sacred realm in Hyrule.”
Zelda stared hard at the figure in front of her, she was shaking, Zelda didn't know what to do.
“I believe this is where I destroy you!” The Impa shouted. She drew her sword with such a grace that made Zelda nervous. Zelda stood in front of the booming figure holding a sword with a tight grip. Zelda did nothing she was just staring; her emotions had her in a tight grip of paralysis.
“Zelda! Snap out of it! This is not Impa you must destroy her. Forget your emotions!” Navi shouted, her voice pierced through Zelda's ears. She shook her head violently, Zelda looked down to the floor for a few seconds and removed her daggers from their pouches into here hands. She stared at the floor and breathed heavily.
“Silence Fairy!” Impa hit Navi onto floor.
Zelda with such speed raised her head looked at Impa and leaped towards her. Zelda gave out a loud scream as the dagger and sword clashed with each other. The battle was violent Impa threw some very heavy swings at Zelda, each time Zelda managed to defend herself. Zelda had a few chances to retaliate her attacks were stopped Impa's great sword.
“This battle's hard, of all the people to battle I never thought it would be Impa!” Zelda said to herself. The fight was tough. The clashing of the metal caused sparks to fly out in all different directions. Impa hit the daggers out of Zelda's hand and kicked Zelda onto the floor,
“Time for you to give up!” Impa shouted, Zelda picked herself up and ran to the end of the room,
“There's no point in you running,” Impa laughed.
The two figures were at either side of the room; they stood and stared at each other. Zelda panted loudly, there was a feeling of great weakness throughout her body, and the thought of failure filled her head. The silence was unbearable. Impa looked at Zelda and began to lift her sword. Zelda knew there was nothing she could do. Despair was the expression on her face.
All of the sudden, Zelda could hear voices in her head. A bright blue mist surrounded Zelda. She felt something being placed into her hand, she lifted stared down and there in her grip was The Master Sword,
“Take it,” a voice said in her ear, “Use it to defeat Impa”. Zelda looked up and in front of her was a very welcoming face,
“Link?” Zelda whispered. She gazed at him, he was fading fast, Zelda tried to say something but the words weren't able to leave her mouth. The blue mist lifted and Zelda was back in the room with Impa. Zelda lifted her head, stared at Impa and with a firm grip on the sword, Zelda ran towards Impa and swung the sword furiously, she struck Impa. With a loud cry, Impa fell to the floor. Zelda, with all her energy used the remaining magic from within her to charge up the sword. With a loud scream, Zelda hit Impa with the sword, Impa cried out, Zelda hit her again. Impa screamed again, she looked up at Zelda from the floor, shut her eyes and vanished.
Zelda fell to her knees, she looked around, it was quiet, the doors had unlocked and in her hand the Master Sword was fading away. A few seconds later it vanished. Navi appeared from the ground,
“Navi are you ok?” Zelda asked,
“Yes I'm fine,” Navi replied, “You seem to be in a worse state than me.”
“Defeating an image of Impa is not easy, she's been with me all my life,” Zelda gave a sigh, “I haven't enough energy to produce any magic.”
Zelda rose up off the floor, she knew it wasn't over just yet.

They proceeded onwards into the next room. It was quiet, an empty room yet again. Their eyes searched around the dreary room, nothing could be seen. Zelda became uneasy with the situation, her eyes became more focused. She continued to look, her eyes looked around the walls around her and then she rose her head to look at the ceiling. There in the center was a green like blob of slime growing bigger. It grew so big that it fell to the floor like a drop of rain. Zelda and Navi stood cautiously back from the green slime,
“What is it?” Zelda questioned, stepping toward it in a slow and steady pace. She bent down to get a closer look. The blob suddenly moved; Zelda was sent aback in shock. In a hurry Zelda got up and backed away to where Navi was, there in front of them the blob of slime began to change shape. The slime moulded itself into a warrior like figure. The green slime turned into a hard brown substance that resembled rock and began to crack. There came a rumble from underneath the rocky surface of the figure and then out burst the warrior like figure in flesh. It was about seven foot tall, it's eyes were glowing a furious red and resembled a beast like creature, with sharp point teeth. In his hands were two enormous swords that seemed to even dwarf the warrior. Zelda and Navi looked at the warrior with immense fear in their eyes,
“What shall we do? He's bigger than us, should we try and run?” Zelda in a whispered voice asked Navi.
“If we could,” Navi replied in horror.
“I have no power to defeat this beast,” Zelda and Navi tried to keep as far away from the warrior as possible, it seemed to be showing off its big swords. Zelda was panicking, she was too weak to fight, however, she suddenly remembered the potion in her bag; she pulled a green bottle out,
“I totally forgot about this, I packed it before I left the sacred realm,” With frantic trembling hands she pulled the cork off and spread the contents of the bottle on her hands.
“This creates temporary magic, so hopefully…” Before Zelda could finish her sentence she was hit to the floor by the warrior's powerful punch.
Quickly picking herself up, she quickly dusted the dirt off her dress and prepared for battle. With a great yell, Zelda powered up magic into her hand and threw a ball of powerful energy at the warrior, upon striking the warrior, flames of green and yellow bounced of its body, it was unharmed.
The warrior swung its swords at Zelda a few times, but with some skill she dodged the swings. She ran towards the other end of the room to get away from its attacks. Once at the wall she turned around to face the warrior. Both standing still, they exchanged glances of anger. The warrior began to charge towards her, Zelda's hands started to glow, within seconds a huge ball of energy was created. With one quick flick of her wrists she sent the great ball of magic hurtling towards it. The warrior continued to charge, not fearing the ball of intense colour and energy. With a great sparkle of colour and a loud crashing noise, the energy hit the warrior. It stopped in an instant, looked at Zelda with its red eyes and grunted. The warrior took another towards her and then disintegrated into nothing.

“Phew!” Zelda gasped, and within the gasp of relief she began to glow, “something is restoring my energy!”
Zelda lifted up her hands, and stared at them, sparks of red magic crackled out of her hands.
The room started to change colour, blasts of white started to appear on the cold dark walls, and soon enough the whole was beginning to change shape and form. The walls and ceiling became a glowing white, people appeared, then tables and chairs and then finally a throne with someone sitting on it appeared at the end of some red carpet.
It was a pure gold throne, an elegant looking young woman sat upon it; her hair was long and a shiny brown colour that caught Zelda's eye immediately. She looked to startled for a few seconds and quickly turned her attention to Zelda and Navi,
“Are you the one's who has lifted this awful curse that was bestowed upon us?” She asked in soft, soothing tone. Zelda without hesitation answered,
“Yes, we are the one's who lifted the curse.”
“I must say a great thankyou to you then, I am truly in you debt. You must be wondering who I am. My name is Melorie, the guardian of this tower.”
“My energy has been restored, was it you who did this?” Zelda enquired.
“Yes and no, this tower is lined with magic, magic flows through the walls, the ceiling and this has given the tower its own consciousness. You showed much bravery in your plight to lift the curse, the tower is showing its gratitude.”
Zelda smiled and lifted her hands up again, they were glowing a warm yellow and red colour. She turned to Navi,
“We should get going Zelda,” Navi bounced up and down.
“Is this to the other tower?” Melorie asked. Turning back around Zelda answered,
“Yes it is.”
“Then allow me to help,” Melorie lifted her arms and clapped her hands, a bright blue ring surrounded them; Zelda was picked up off her feet. She and Navi were transported away.

As their feet gently touched the ground, the blue light around them faded to reveal another dark and gloomy room. The walls were covered in thick green slime, floor was covered in a moss and the room was very dull lit. Zelda and Navi looked around at their new surroundings,
“Well this is a nice place, seems like we've got some decorating to do,” Zelda chuckled. She moved forward towards one of the walls, she walked slowly and silently each step trying to keep away from the slimy moss. She stopped for a few seconds, looked at the wall in front of her and sighed. She stood and stared for a few more seconds, a cackle of laughter was heard behind her. Zelda immediately turned around and found her face staring straight at Ganondorf. He began to talk,
“Hello, my dear, the evil cursed powers of this tower have taken me straight out of your memories and incarnated me to make sure you don't break the powers that bind this place together!”
“Oh dear,” Zelda sighed, “I've defeated you once, I can do it again!”
Zelda's hands began to glow, the magic amounted and then threw a ball of energy towards Ganondorf, at that same point Ganondorf set a great blast of energy towards the attack. With a loud clash, Zelda's attack had been countered. A great war of magic broke out; both Zelda and Ganondorf were alight with colour from their energy. Both Zelda and Ganondorf were being hit by immense balls of magical energy. Then with a great power up and loud roar Ganondorf launched and hit Zelda with 15 balls of dark energy. Zelda collapsed on the floor, battered she gave a loud groan.
“I shall now just finish you off!” Ganondorf smiled and laughed manically.
However, before Ganondorf could power up, he was struck to the floor. He looked up and there in front of him holding two daggers was Sheik.
“It's not over yet!” Sheik shouted.
Sheik with great enthusiasm slashed Ganondorf with the daggers. Dodging the attacks Ganondorf flew around the room attempting to throw blasts of energy towards Sheik. Both Ganondorf and Sheik were now getting extremely weaker. The madness finally ended when Ganondorf powered up and struck Sheik down with a great ball of energy. Zelda appeared and looked at Ganondorf
“Oh no,” Zelda was weary and tired, her energy was low and the magic had stopped fully flowing, “there must be a way to defeat him.”
She lay on the floor with a feeling of doom and despair. She remained on the floor when all the sudden a bright light surrounded her, she was blinded by its brightness and had to cover her eyes for a few seconds. She eventually lowered her hands away from her eyes and there in front of her was the Link holding the Ocarina of Time towards her,
“Play the Lullaby,” Link smiled.
“Link, is that you?” Zelda picked up the Ocarina out of his hand. She stared at the instrument for a few seconds, she picked up her head and she found herself back in the room and Ganondorf laughing and creating a massive ball of dark energy. She immediately pressed the Ocarina to her lips and played the Lullaby.
In horror, Ganondorf, stopped what he was doing and looked straight towards Zelda. His face was one of shock, he tried to cover up his ears, but the power of the music was too powerful for him to bear. He then gave out a loud scream and with a great show of light, he faded into nothingness.
Zelda got herself back up, the room was dark again, silence filled the room. Zelda gave a loud sigh of relief and the room began to change. Dazzling white walls, flowers, people and a great chandelier appeared. The room soon filled with people and a thrown. Sitting upon it was a young woman,
“You have lifted the curse!” the woman laughed happily, “I congratulate and thank you for your great courage and power.”
“Thankyou very much,” Zelda stood up a little more.
“My name is Hytu, I am the guardian of this temple. I sense that you have broken the curse on the other tower, both Melorie and I are eternally in your debt.”
Zelda was grasping one of her wounds with one hand and in the other was the ocarina, she stared at it for a few seconds, bringing silence to the room.
“I shall heal your wounds for you,” Hytu smiled.
“Oh thanks, that would really help!” Zelda laughed.

Zelda and Navi made their way through the town, the town-folk greeted them with happiness,
“You have lifted the curses on the two temples, now we can go out into the field and start living normal lives again!” A man came up to them smiling, but his expression quickly changed, “but I fear you still have the one in the castle to defeat.”
Zelda looked up towards the great looming castle, then turned to Navi,
“I wish this was over already, but I need to get to Hyrule and help get rid of that Tyran!” Anger consumed her, “I'm going!”

Reaching the castle, Zelda and Navi pushed the great wooden doors and entered the castle. Once inside they stood in complete shock, the interior of the castle was white, bright, and clean and didn't look at all cursed. There was red carpet along the halls, pictures graced the walls and gleaming golden frames accentuated the beauty of the inside of the castle. Zelda and Navi, looked around entering and looking inside nearly every single room. The rooms were immaculate, in some there were people cleaning, sleeping or talking on sweet golden chairs in what looked like a shining room of prosperity. They came across a beautiful, fully staffed kitchen and then next door a grand dining hall with people eating. Zelda and Navi were confused,
“It just doesn't make sense, people live here!” Navi cried, “Let's try and find the throne room!”
They quickened their pace looking for the thrown room. After looking in many stately rooms, they came to two big white washed doors, with golden handles and frame work, they could hear voices coming from behind the door. With great determination, Zelda pushed both open both doors. The voices stopped, standing in the door way Zelda couldn't see anyone. In front of her at the other end of the room was the thrown, she walked towards it, at the same time looking around suspiciously. She stood in front of the thrown, and stared at it in confusion, but with some curiosity.
“Welcome mystical one,” a man appeared from behind the thrown.
“What are you doing here?” Zelda shouted pointing at the man standing in front of her, “You're the old man from the village. This doesn't make any sense!”
“But yes, it does make sense my dear,” he answered.
“How can it make sense? You sent me on a quest to destroy you!”
“Listen, I can explain everything. Years ago I was King of this land and I still am. But one day whilst foolishly experimenting with highly dangerous magic, I created the curse and by mistake set it onto the land. I saw the damage the curse was doing to the land and I panicked. I immediately fled to the town with a cover up story, it was that the castle had been taken over by some kind of evil and had set the curse upon the land. I just couldn't tell the villagers the truth.”
“Well do I do now? Do I kill you where you stand?” Zelda questioned, “And what about these prophets? Are they real or yet another cover up created by you?”
“The prophets are real; the words have been carved into stone and are placed in a secret room in the great Temple of the village. The prophets say that ‘one of the mighty rulers of this land would create a bad evil and set it upon this land', I never thought it would be me. The only way to remove the whole curse was also written down, ‘the one with the heart of gold shall soothe the land of evil using the song of the past,' I just don't understand it! We have no songs like that.”
Zelda stood and began to think, she whispered to herself,
“Song of the past, now what could that be?” She pondered for a few seconds more, then with a loud cry, “I know what the song of the past is!” Holding the ocarina in front of her, she began to smile, “It's got to be the Song of Time! It's so obvious!”
Slowly and surely Zelda placed the mouth piece of the Ocarina between her lips and started to play the Song of Time.
A mysterious glow came from the ocarina, and began to spread. It passed across the castle at first, then continued to flow out into the village and then onto the outside world. The outside of the castle had been restored to its former glory, buildings that had been destroyed by the evil creatures were re-built and all the evil creatures that roamed the land vanished. Eventually the misty glow that had consumed the land disappeared,
“The Curse has been lifted!” The King jumped up in happiness, “I am eternally in your debt, though there might be something I can re-pay you with.” The king waved his hand around, both Hytu and Melorie suddenly appeared. With great smiles the two women, joined hands and combined power. They began to glow a faint yellow,
“Please if there is anything we can ever do for you in the future, please contact us,” They both said with glee. A blue ring of light surrounded Zelda. She could feel herself being lifted off the ground,
“Wait for me!” Navi shouted.
“Goodbye!” Zelda and Navi shouted from within in the ring of blue, they continued to rise and then eventually disappeared.
